Through the ajar door of her workshop, a faint trail of
smoke emerges. The moment of the greatest calm is
enlivened by the pulsating freshness of bergamot and
blackcurrant. The soothing clary sage is combined with
the ubiquitous, sunny jasmine. Spicy vetiver smells on
the outside, creating a safe haven with leathery and
resinous labdanum. Sweet and balsamic scent of tonka
beans is intertwined with peppery vanilla. The door
closes and I can still see her hands. The hands that smell
like craftsmanship.
