What materials are Molehill products made of?

Molehill products include bags, backpacks and other outdoor accessories handmade in Poland from high quality natural cowhide leather, denim and other materials. The cowhide leather used in Molehill products has a high-quality texture, is very durable and ages slowly. Over time, it gradually turns darker.

How to care for Molehill items?

Do not use pastes or creams to care for natural cowhide leather. Remove dirt by gently wiping with a cloth dampened with water and allow to dry naturally. Natural materials can also be cared for with olive oil.
Products made of denim should be handwashed at 30 degrees only. Leather and metal elements must be removed before washing.

There are visible scratches on my bag, is this normal?

Krafla and Haerra bags are one-of-a-kind because of the unique texture of the hides from which they are made. Any scratches and uneven colour appearing with use do not affect the quality of the product, but only add character. This is due to the natural properties of the materials used and is not a defect.

What is the warranty period?

All products sold in the online Molehill store are covered by a 2 year warranty.

Which defects are covered by the warranty?

The warranty covers hidden defects, rather than those resulting from incorrect use of the product. Defects covered by the warranty include all product aspects related to its strength and durability, including structural defects (particularly the strength of the rivets and the seams).

In particular, the warranty does not cover natural processes that change the appearance of natural leather, its discolouration and the natural ageing, as these changes result from the properties of the material.

Do I have to set up a user account to make a purchase?

A purchase can be made using the order form, without registration of a user account.

How soon will I get the items I order?

Your order will be dispatched within a maximum of 7 days from the date of the payment posting in our bank account. The courier company will deliver your order within the European Union within 5 working days from the date of dispatch. Goods are only sent on working days.

How do I make a payment for purchased products?

Payments can be made via PayPal in EURO, USD, GBP.

How much will I pay for shipping to Europe?

We currently offer the attractive flat shipping rates to Europe for minimum orders: 12€/14$/£10

What documents will be included with the shipment?

The shipment, in addition to the ordered products, will include an order confirmation, as well as a receipt or a VAT invoice (on request).

Is it possible to have my order gift-wrapped?

If you want your order gift-wrapped, please let us know in the Additional Information field when ordering.

Are the bags you sell the same as the bags in the photos?

We do our best to make the photos accurately reflect the colour and texture of our products, but please note that the hue depicted in the photos may vary slightly from the colour of the actual products. In addition to the images, we offer a detailed description of the product and its specification.

Discolourations, scratches, unevenness of colour and surface are unique and intentional features of the products. The character and size of these features varies from one individual bag to another.

Can I return the items if the goods do not meet my expectations?

You have the right to return the goods within 14 days of receipt of the shipment, without stating a reason. The goods can not have any traces of use, and must be sent together with the proof of purchase and in the original packaging. The statement of withdrawal from the sales contract can be made using the withdrawal from contract form located at the end of the Terms and Conditions.

To what address should I send the returned goods and the statement of withdrawal from contract?

Who covers the cost of returning the goods?

The customer covers the direct cost of returning the goods.

How long will it take for the amount paid for returned goods to be refunded into my account?

The money will be refunded no later than 14 calendar days after the receipt of the statement of withdrawal from the sales contract.
Refund payments may be suspended until we receive the returned goods or a proof of their postage.
